python is already available on all shared hosting servers by default. The newer machines come with python 2.4.3 or higher. The older machine have at least 2.2.x.
mod_python is currently not supported by cPanel and therefore we are not able to offer it on our shared servers at this time. If you need mod_python support this can be installed on a vps or dedicated server but we cannot guarantee it will work correctly as it is not supported by cPanel.
